Electric Campfire happens in the margins, creating a threshold where repetition signals exhaustion and the call for transformation. It is the refuse of a recursive model’s collapse: a lens through which to consider what happens when systems (technological, cultural, or ecological) feed endlessly on their own outputs.

Just as AI risks losing nuance when it trains on synthetic echoes of itself, so too do societies risk collapse when feedback loops of representation, history, and power fail to admit new voices articulating other epistemologies. The work gathered here intervenes in this recursive narrowing, insisting on multiplicity, interruption, and critical renewal through its refusal to erasure. Working with the question of what forms of knowledge are lost when circulation turns inward, and imagine what futures become possible when collapse is not the end point, but a call to invent new worlds?

We need to rethink the role of police in society. The origins and functions of the police are intimately tied to the management of inequalities of race, gender and class. The suppression of workers, people identifying as LGBTQIA+ and the tight surveillance and micromanagement of migrated people and Black, Indigenous People of Color (BIPoC) have always been at the center of policing.

Through "Police vs. Society" I endeavor to generate awareness and understanding regarding the realities of the current police system. I aim to highlight the ambiguity policing has and reveal the discrepancies between its intended purpose and its actual impact on marginalized communities. By exposing the inequalities and racial biases prevalent within the system, I hope to encourage a more open and honest conversation about the urgent need for abolishing the police.

Beinhaltet Forschungsmaterialien und Virtuelle Räume.Wir müssen die Rolle der Polizei in der Gesellschaft überdenken.&#38;nbsp; Die Ursprünge und Funktionen der Polizei sind eng verbunden mit der Verwaltung von Ungleichheiten basierend auf Herkunft, Geschlecht und Klasse. Die Unterdrückung von Arbeiter*innen, Personen die sich als LGBTQIA+ identifizieren und die strenge Überwachung und das Mikromanagement von Migrant*innen, indigenen Bevölkerungsgruppen und People of Color (BIPoC) standen schon immer im Mittelpunkt der Polizeiarbeit. Jede Polizeireformstrategie, die sich nicht mit dieser Realität auseinandersetzt ist zum Scheitern verurteilt.Ausgehend von meiner persönlichen Erfahrung als Polizeikommissar*in&#38;nbsp; von 2016 bis 2019 in Baden-Württemberg möchte ich mit diesem Projekt die komplexen Dynamiken, zahlreichen Ungleichheiten und rassistischen Vorurteile in diesem System beleuchten. Ich möchte zu einer kritischen Reflexion über die Struktur und die Auswirkungen auf die Gesellschaft anregen. Dieses Projekt dient mir auch als Plattform, um meine Bedenken, Beobachungen und Kritik am Polizeisystem zum Ausdruck zu bringen. Motiviert durch meine eigenen Erfahrungen möchte ich nun Transparenz über die Realität der Polizeiarbeit schaffen, ihre Schwächen aufdecken und Einblicke in mögliche Wege zur Veränderung bieten.Mit “Police vs. Society” möchte ich versuchen Bewusstsein und Verständnis für die Realität des derzeitigen Polizeisystems zu schaffen. Ich möchte die Zweideutigkeit der Polizeiarbeit hervorheben und die Diskrepanzen zwischen ihrem beabsichtigten Zweck und ihren tatsächlichen Auswirkungen auf marginalisierte Gemeinschaften aufzeigen. Indem ich die Ungleichheiten und rassistischen Vorurteile innerhalb des Systems aufzeige, hoffe ich, eine offenere und ehrlichere Diskussion über die dringende Notwendigkeit einer Reform anzuregen.

My aim with this ongoing collection of consumerist scenarios found in public spaces is to confront western society‘s relationship with waste, consumerism, and the disposable nature of our materialistic culture. Each item tells a unique story—a story of consumption, of neglect, and ultimately, of our collective human experience.

Through "Trash Scenarios", I endeavour to disrupt the narrative surrounding waste, challenging preconceived notions of value and prompting viewers to reconsider their relationship with the objects they discard. By extracting these fragments from their mundane context and presenting them in a digital room I invite viewers to examine the profound implications of our consumer-driven society.

Navigating the Labyrinth of UncertaintyIn the digital space of "DYSTOPIAN KLINIKUM" the viewer embarks on a journey through the surreal and endless corridors of a vast hospital. This project seeks to evoke the disorienting and anxiety-inducing experience of being lost within the sterile and unfamiliar surroundings of a medical facility. The hospital, often perceived as a sanctuary of healing, takes on a dystopian character in this immersive virtual world. The scenes, reconstructed through 3D scans and audio recordings, serve as a visual and acoustic metaphor for the unsettling nature of illness and the myriad feelings it can evoke. You may encounter your anxiety, searching for answers, comfort, and hope in the midst of uncertainty. The labyrinthine corridors, absence of human presence, accentuate the isolation and vulnerability one can experience when confronted with illness. The fluorescent lighting casts shadows, amplifying the unease that permeates these spaces. Every twist and turn leads to new questions: Will my mind even be strong enough to escape?

"DYSTOPIAN KLINIKUM" is an invitation to contemplate the human experience of illness and the search for solace and healing in the face of uncertainty.DYSTOPIAN KLINKUM was created for the project and exhibition "Sterile Romantik" and "Septischer Realismus" in cooperation with the Klinikum Kassel, Gesundheit Nordhessen and the Research Area New Media at the Kunsthochschule Kassel.

Dieses Projekt soll die verwirrende und angstauslösende Erfahrung heraufbeschwören, sich in der sterilen und ungewohnten Umgebung einer medizinischen Einrichtung zu verlieren. Beim Durchqueren der endlosen Gänge zwischen den verschiedenen Stationen und beim Blick in die verlassenen oder überfüllten Warteräume drängt sich die Frage auf: Werde Ich jemals einen Ausweg finden, sowohl körperlich als auch geistig?Das Krankenhaus, welches oft als ein Ort der Heilung wahrgenommen wird, nimmt in dieser immersiven virtuellen Welt einen dystopischen Charakter an. Die durch 3D Scans und Audio Aufnahmen rekonstruierten Szenen dienen als visuelle und akustische Metapher für die beunruhigende Natur von Krankheit und die unzähligen Gefühle, die sie hervorrufen kann.
